Ida Koi is from a Japanese and Argentine family, resides in Costa Rica having completed all his musical training in this country. He started his studies on the Conservatorio de Castella, successfully participated in national and international classical guitar competitions, from which he obtained prizes, recognition and valuable learning. Still in the Conservatory, he began to be interested in composition and electronic music, so he began to learn self-taught until university came to give him a new stage and better tools. At the beginning of his university studies in musical composition and classical guitar at the Faculty of Musical Arts of the UCR.
In addition, he complemented this training with professional music production and DJing studies at the DJ Lab, an institution with a long history in the field of electronic and popular music.
Ida Koi combines everything he has learned in her artistic training, from classical music, guitar, experiences in professional projects such as audiovisuals, video games, musical groups among others. His deep knowledge in music theory, composition, music Electronic, along with his most intimate musical tastes led to his main passion, Techno.

Ha sido participe de prestigiosos eventos, como el Mercedes Benz Fashion Week 2018, y además cuenta con presencias en los mejores clubes del país, como Club Vértigo, Antik, El Garito, El Steinvorth, entre otros, además de que ha compartido escenario con artistas internacionales de la talla de Berni Turletti (The Soundgarden), Valentin Huedo (Ibiza Sonica), Cuevas (Happy Techno), y nacionales como Javier Portilla, Esteban Howell, NIM y Mario Maroto.
