With energetic hi-hats and groovy vibes, Randall, Carlos and Christopher brings the underground sounds of the streets of Costa Rica by the name of Velvet.
Velvet started in their hometown making underground parties and creating great electronic shows where nothing existed before, and bringing artists from other parts of the country, such as Gang, Nomads, Faceblind and many others, which made the electronic scene bigger.
They have an ongoing growing career in music, appearing in great Clubs like Vertigo and Antik, sharing nights with national and international artist like Will Umañana, Ces Castro, Richard Salazar, Tini Gessler and Wade.
Now they’ve started in music production, currently creating tracks they exclusively play in their music sets and shows (which are unreleased yet).

From a Japanese and Argentine family, resides in Costa Rica having completed all his musical training in this country. Started his studies on the Conservatorio de Castella, then he continued his musical training at the UCR School of Music. Also training with professional music production in DJing studies at the DJ Lab and background in classical music, audiovisuals, video game soundtracks,. His knowledge in music theory, composition, along with his most intimate musical tastes led to his current passion, musical production and DJ sessions.
